Position: Administrative Assistant
The Owner, Communication Director.

Aseity Creations, LLC primarily focuses in art education, art entrepreneurial support services for creative individuals, and shared creative resources seeking application for part time Administrative Assistant position to support and to assist in day to day business operations. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 2 years work experience as an administrative assistant specifically in the area of arts related environment. This is a fast-paced work environment where multitasking is a must. Some travel within the city of Houston is required. A 2-year degree is preferred and strong skill in Windows as well as Apple OS are needed. In-depth understanding of social media, public relations, oral and written communication, organizational skill are an integral part for this position. Part time 1099 position may lead into additional hours. Competitive pay along with excellent perks especially designed for art-curious individuals. Work hours and time are flexible and may vary from week to week.

  • Independently research and develop lists of arts related entities, and initiate communication.
  • Develop and maintain mass mailing (including emailing) list. Generate contents for twice a week mass emailing and mailing as applicable.
  • Data entry of all activities including payments submitted, payments receivable, and payables.
  • Communicate with social media manager, and assist in daily postings, measures and analyze effectiveness towards growth, conversion, and relevancy.
  • Maintain inventory of artworks, equipment, books, clothing items,office/gallery/studio/classroom items.
  • Generate press releases and other announcements and distribute in timely manner.
  • Manage weekly calendar for all events including classes, workshops, open houses, studio floor bookings, podcast recording schedule, and member meets.
  • Initiate collaborations with local businesses and vendors.
  • Maintain list of books in our library.
  • Maintain all documents for compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper appearance of the studio, gallery, classroom, and office.
  • Assist to develop ideas for video content, graphics content and any other contents for target marketing.
  • Assist in recruitment.
  • Answer phone calls and manage email communications.
  • Associate degree in arts/humanities preferred. Expert in Microsoft Office. Proficient in Adobe creative suite. Knowledge of Apps.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in related or similar environment preferred.
  • Ability to handle large monitor connectivity (such as for power point presentations or playing video etc.) Ability to understand studio lighting and its maintenance. Ability to maintain gallery display and its proper maintenance. Ability to operate electronics equipment (such as overhead projector).
  • Must be customer service oriented. Proficient in effective communication. Ability to negotiate and to influence. Sales aptitude.
  • This position requires to remain seated for a long period of time. At times this position requires to remain in standing position for long time. Occasional lifting and moving of instrument, equipment, and merchandise weighing up to 30lbs may be required.
  • Ability to work remotely may be required at times.

Position: Accounts Manager

Qualified applicants must be comfortable working with business owners, managing partners, artists, art gallery owners, and other arts related business owners and executives.

  • Prospecting is a key element of this position; it requires identifying and qualifying new clients for our digital, print, special publications and events.
  • Generate advertising revenue by consistently meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Develop new business and manage the sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Maintain an active schedule of face-to-face appointments and prospecting calls.
  • Two years of business-to-business sales experience, with media sales preferred. A digital sales background is an added plus.
  • A strong track record of revenue growth and exceeding annual budget.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • The ability to exceed expectations in a results-oriented environment.

Work hours and time are flexible and may vary from week to week.

  • Assist with graphic design responsibilities including creation of advertisements, social media contents, signage, event and marketing collateral, web graphics, email graphics and more.
  • Manage design projects as assigned by Marketing Manager, from brainstorming phase through to print/production.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all assets, including without limitation, internal departments (e.g., video, website, and graphics), advertising, partner activation’s, etc.
  • Complete design projects in designated time frame.
  • Assist with copywriting, copyediting and proofreading.
  • Expert knowledge in working with MAC and PC.
  • Expert proficiency in the following programs: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software products.
  • Strong graphic design knowledge and experience.
  • Working knowledge of the printing process and press checks.
  • Strong organization and time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines and levels of priority.

Position: Telecommunication/Audiovisual Technician

Ability to video record our events is a plus. 1099 position with competitive pay with excellent perks especially designed for art-curious individuals.

  • Design the entire planning for live streaming of our events.
  • Implement live streaming devices and mechanism.
  • Test and debug as necessary. Ensure streaming is secure and password protected.
  • Record events and upload on our server to store and to view on demand.
  • Maintain live streaming and recording devices properly.
  • Maintain catalog of contents.
  • Oversees and troubleshoots all aspects of signal flow in venue spaces.
  • Ability to demonstrate proven understanding of complex audiovisual configurations.
  • Have experience with standard desktop conferencing applications (i.e., Skype for Business, WebEx, Zoom, Vimeo etc.)
  • Have extensive experience with HD streaming, and live delivery platforms.
  • Must have ability to multi-task, and make decisions quickly.
  • Must have an understanding of standard functional IT disciplines (i.e., Telecom, Video Conferencing, Messaging, Server operations, etc.)
  • Ability to operate motion photographic and audio equipment.
  • BA/BS degree preferred. Associate Degree is required.
